1. Who We Are
Groly AI ("we", "us", "our") provides an AI-powered Instagram profile audit service accessible via groly.dev and the @grolyai_bot Telegram bot. Our service analyzes publicly available Instagram data and generates profile reports.
2. Data We Collect
2.1 Instagram Data (Public)
When you request an audit, we collect publicly available Instagram data for the specified username:
- Profile information (username, bio, follower/following count, profile picture URL)
- Recent post data (images, captions, like/comment counts, post dates)
We never ask for your Instagram password and do not access private accounts or direct messages.
2.2 Telegram Data
If you use our Telegram bot, we receive your:
- Telegram user ID and display name
- Chat messages sent to the bot
- Language preference
2.3 Website Data
When you use groly.dev, we collect:
- IP address — used for rate limiting (3 free audits per IP per 24 hours) and converted to a pseudonymous identifier. We do not store raw IP addresses.
- Cookies — essential cookies only for site functionality. No tracking cookies are set by us directly.
- UTM parameters — for understanding how you found our service.
2.4 Payment Data
Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store credit card numbers. We receive from Stripe:
- Payment confirmation and transaction ID
- Email address (if provided during checkout)
2.5 Email Address
Your email is collected only if you voluntarily provide it (for audit delivery or newsletter). You can skip email entry during the audit process.
3. How We Use Your Data
- Audit delivery — to generate and deliver your Instagram audit report
- Service improvement — to improve our AI analysis quality (aggregated, non-personal)
- Rate limiting — to prevent abuse via IP-based pseudonymous identifiers
- Communication — to send audit results, payment confirmations, and (only if opted in) product updates
- Analytics — via Google Analytics 4 to understand site usage patterns
4. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services that may process your data:
- Google Analytics 4 — website analytics (Google Privacy Policy)
- Stripe — payment processing (Stripe Privacy Policy)
- Telegram Bot API — bot communication (Telegram Privacy Policy)
- OpenAI & Anthropic — AI analysis (data is sent for processing only, not used for model training per their API terms)
- Hetzner Cloud — server hosting in the EU (Hetzner Privacy Policy)
5. Data Retention
- Audit data — retained for 90 days after generation, then automatically deleted
- EPUB reports — stored for 30 days for download access
- Account data — retained as long as you use the service; deleted upon request
- Payment records — retained as required by applicable tax and accounting laws
6. Your Rights (GDPR)
As our servers are located in the EU (Germany, Hetzner Cloud), and we serve EU users, you have the following rights under GDPR:
- Access — request a copy of your personal data
- Rectification — correct inaccurate data
- Erasure — request deletion of your data ("right to be forgotten")
- Portability — receive your data in a machine-readable format
- Objection — object to processing of your data
- Restriction — request restriction of processing

7. Data Security
We implement appropriate technical measures to protect your data:
- All connections use HTTPS/TLS encryption
- Server access is restricted via SSH key authentication
- Database access is limited to the application layer
- Payment data is handled exclusively by PCI-DSS compliant Stripe
8. Children's Privacy
Our service is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has provided us data, please contact us for deletion.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top will reflect the most recent revision. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
